DS Magic

HEY! dudes.

A while ago, via Audrey Kawasaki's blog, I stumbled upon gelaskins.com. They've got some pretty cool skins for laptops, iProducts, and video game consoles/handhelds. Pretty sweet! I thought my brother might like one of those for Christmas, so I looked around trying to find him one.

Then, of course, I noticed you could make them yourself. Holy eff.

I made four: an iPhone skin for my oldest brother, a DS skin for the next, and iPod skins for my two cousins. The only one I have a photo of is Car's DS, seen here:

In retrospect, I probably should have flipped the illustration on the frontpiece over. Furthermore I thought my bro had a black DS (surprises are hard). The inside just has a more subtle philly skyline, so as not to be distracting during play.

Anyway, that site is kind of fun! Someday when I care a little more about video games/have money for spending I will buy myself a new DS, and then maybe I will make myself a cover.

If anybody wanted one of these (especially one of art of mine that already exists) I might be willing to spend some time on it for cheaps.

Still truckin' along on Stanley! I'm actually animating now, but there are still a lot of little things I want to go back and fix. The 3/1 deadline will be tough but I want it bad.
