Meet The Animals

Hello and welcome to day three of:

MAINICHI MONSUTAA

As you will soon see, I went with an animal theme while drawing these yesterday.

Fire indeed hot

is it mud or blood?!

As you may know, at the beginning of last month I moved all of my things from one apartment into a different apartment. Now I'm living with my friend Sunshine. First, check out my illin' room.

sweet print on my wall by Kali Ciesemier

my bookcase is almost exclusively comics. wall print by Sam Bosma.

In addition to living with a human and a bike, I live with Sunshine's multitudinous animal friends. Here you can meet them.

This is Mango. He is a radical dude. I call him the mangler.

This is Paste. She was adopted and is moving out on sunday. She likes to eat my contact cases and play with stuffed bananas.

This is Mona. She is a dog.

This is Chester. He is licking his nose.

This is a new cat. She doesn't have a name.

Anyway, enough of these real life pictures. More drawings tomorrow.

Most excellencies all around.

Confirmation: SYMON. A robot's approximation of the name "Simon." Heavy dramatic emphasis on the first syllable.

Awesommmeeee! It warms the cockles of my heart to see Sam & I's prints in your sweet new apartment. (good wall colors, btw) I spied my postcard, too!
Also, those animals are adorable. (the real animals, as well as Vampire Pork)

Now, this is just the nitpicky teacher in me coming out, but seeing you use more black in the Pork & the Fish Ghost made me want to see more black experimented with in others too, since you're usually pretty white-heavy. Might be cool to try.

OMG THAT'S AN AWFUL PICTURE OF ME.

Gawd, Diego. Not cool.

Oh, and the kitten is actually a boy and his name is Sushi. I call him sushicat or dinocat, seeing as his 'meows' are more like tiny dino cries.
